Here we Go…

Captain Marvel’s performance on Box-Office has been remarkable in the first week. There is a powerful opening for Marvel’s first female-led superhero film. That success perhaps doesn’t come as a significant surprise, though, with Endgame anticipation rising and Infinity War having reasoned with a tease of Danvers’ arrival.

The Hook

Carol does not delight in the easy truth that she walks with a rentable replica of Hook, but we sure do. Frankly, it’s time for somebody in the MCU to earn a Rufio joke.

The Last Blockbuster

After Carol crash lands in the Blockbuster, the first VHS tape she picks up just so happens to be 1983 classic The Ideal Stuff, a film chronicling the very first decades of America’s space program. Get it? Since Carol’s from space and she was a test pilot for the Air Force

A long before Google

She utilizes AltaVista, an era-appropriate search engine that everyone who used the internet from the’90s probably predominates.

Lawson is Mar-vell

The MCU’s treasured MacGuffin plays with a surprise enormous part in Captain Marvel. We had no idea going to the film, but the Tesseract–ie the Space Stone–has been the subject of Mar-Vell’s study on Earth and is now the origin of Carol’s powers. Undoubtedly this will be significant in Avengers: Endgame

“Fury” has a Full Name

The movie also shows something that likely will not turn out to be important, but we never knew before: Fury’s name. His whole title is Nicholas Joseph Fury. Now, do not you feel as though you know him a little better? Which is fine, since he’s currently dust.

These were a few of those Easter eggs that you most likely have missed! But, now you understand everything. You can confidently go before your friends sporting Avengers costume and show-off how large fan of Marvel You are!
